What we collect and why
We only collect what we need to give you your assessment and your report:
- Your email address — collected when you sign in through our authentication provider. We use it to create your account, let you sign back in, deliver your report, and send essential messages about the service.
- Your assessment answers — the responses you give during the assessment. We use these to generate your personalized report.
- Your generated report — the report we produce for you, which we store so you can return and read it whenever you like.
- Your optional report artwork — if you choose to generate it, we store the finished image and its explanatory notes so they remain available with your report.
- Payment records — a record confirming your purchase, used to give you access to your report. Your payment details themselves are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card information.
- Referral codes — if you arrive through a referral or share one, used to credit referrals and prevent misuse.
Sensitive information and your consent
Because the assessment asks about how you think, feel, and respond, your answers and results may reveal sensitive information about you, including information relating to your mental well-being. We treat this information with extra care. Before you begin the assessment, we ask for your explicit consent to process this information for the sole purpose of generating your report. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us or deleting your account, although this will not affect a report we have already produced for you.
How your report is generated
To create your report, your assessment answers are sent to a third-party AI provider that processes them on our behalf to produce written analysis. We share only the information needed to generate your report, the provider acts solely on our instructions, and it does not use your data to train its own models or for any purpose of its own. Your report is produced by automated means and is intended for personal insight and reflection. It is not a clinical, medical, or diagnostic assessment, and we do not use it to make any decision that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
After your written report is ready, you may separately choose to create one personal artwork from it. If you do, the report material needed to select visual themes is processed by our AI providers to create and check the image. This is optional, does not affect your written report, and is not triggered until you request it.
Our legal bases for using your data
Under UK and European data protection law, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Performing our contract with you — to create and deliver the report you have purchased and to run your account.
- Your consent — to process your assessment answers, including any sensitive information they may reveal, for the purpose of generating your report.
- Our legitimate interests — to keep the service secure and prevent misuse, including referral fraud.
- Legal obligation — to keep payment records for accounting and tax purposes.
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
How your data is stored and kept secure
Your data is stored in a secure cloud database run by a third-party hosting provider on our behalf. Access is restricted to the people and systems that genuinely need it to run the service, and your data is protected in transit and at rest. We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to guard against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Where your data is processed
Some of our providers, including our hosting and AI providers, may store or process your data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we put appropriate safeguards in place — such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an equivalent mechanism — so that your data receives the same protection it would in the UK.
Payments
When you pay for your report, your payment is processed by a third-party payment processor. They handle your card or payment details directly, and we never see or store your full card information. We keep only a record confirming that payment was made, so we can give you access to what you bought.
Signing in
We use a third-party sign-in provider to handle authentication, so you can sign in securely without us managing passwords. Through this we receive your email address to identify your account. We do not collect or store any password for you.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to make the service work. These keep you signed in and keep your session secure as you move through the assessment. We may use additional cookies for other purposes and will update this policy and seek your consent where required.
How long we keep your data
We keep your account details, assessment answers, and generated report and any optional artwork for as long as you keep your account, so they stay available to you. We keep payment records for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax purposes.
If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except for the limited information we are legally required to keep.
We never sell your data
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing purposes. The only third parties involved are the providers that help us run the service — hosting, AI report generation, payments, and sign-in — and they may only use your data to perform those tasks for us.
Your rights
You have the following rights over your personal data:
- to be told how your data is used, which this policy sets out;
- to ask for a copy of the data we hold about you;
- to have inaccurate data corrected;
- to ask us to delete your data;
- to ask us to limit how we use your data;
- to receive your data in a portable format;
- to object to certain uses of your data;
- to withdraw your consent where we rely on it; and
- to complain to your local data protection authority.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local law. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will help.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a significant change, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
